HaWaiI

We had such a fun time on our vacation, we were ready to come home and work hard! But when we got home we found out that Gavin needed to go back to hawaii and do some more work on the temple. However, after being away from eachother, we werent about to leave eachothers side. So I came along with him. Its been fun and we have another week left. Here are some sweet pics.

We made it! Through the whole wedding and open house, and can I tell you how happy I am that it is over. phew!! It was the funnest two days, but for sure the most exhausting ones I have had for a while. All of the hotels we stayed at (ogden canyon, park city), were so nice, but mexico was a blast. I loved it so much! It was so much fun to have time to ourselves to love eachother and just hang out with no stress. Our cruise boat was so nice, and ensanada and cabo were a blast.

Wedding!!

It was the most perfect day!! I love Gavin so much and there is no one that I would rather be married to than him. Our ceremony was really good and some great things were told to us. It was so fun to walk out of the temple and see all of our friends and family there supporting us! That was one of our favorite parts of the whole day. Especially when I saw my cousins ryan and kristi! We all miss them so much. Well I dont have any pictures yet from the temple or reception, but I do have some from the open house. These are the Groomsmen

Our wedding day was the most perfect day ever.

My Last Days in Ventura

My Last day in Ventura was really sad. I love the Allens and all my friends so much. But i cant complain cause the last little bit was some of the most fun I had down there. These are pictures that we took just before we left.

I couldnt be sad cause man did some great things happen while I was down there. I Graduated this may from Ventura WHOOP WHOOP!!! And it felt good. My parents, Mindi and Gav came down to pick me up and spend some time with me. I love Ventura, but it was always so much better when my friends or family was there. The day before we left we went and rented some boogie boards and headed to Emma Wood beach. We all had so much fun in the water. There were so many dolphins in the water that day! It was the best way for me to spend my last little bit in California. My good friend Catherine threw me a wedding shower while I was down there and it was so much fun.

Workin In Hawaii

Hows it goin everyone! This is Gavin again. I am working on the Hawaii Temple in Laie. They closed it down for a year and a half and fully gutted it. My dad got contracted out to do the plaster work and I have the privilage to be here working for him. Its kinda cool to be able to walk in all parts of the temple but also weird because its just a bunch of cement rooms so I really have no idea what is what. The only thing I can make out is the baptismal font (but thats not to hard). Before I came over here everyone was so jealous that I get to work in Hawaii! Let me tell you the truth though...it is about 80 degrees everyday and the humidity is killing me! By the end of the work day I am to drained to really do much. So really its not that great...but at the same time its a good experience so I am happy im doing it. Our house is really nice that we are staying in. The backyard is the beach but its all rocks so nothin really good for swimming. On Saturday we worked in the morning and took off the rest of the day and went to town to the swap meet. It was pretty fun and I got some cool stuff for tawyna's birthday coming up at the end of May (dont forget everyone its the 28th ;)) After I am done working here in Hawaii I am flying in to California to pick up my baby girl and bring her home for good! I cannot wait! We have done it everyone and on June 30th I never have to be away from that girl again! I know what all you married couples are thinking...your thinkin wow thats gonna change fast and he will want a little space..but come on guys I love this girl so much so let me believe it alright! haha. I am excited to be married to this girl for time and eternity in the temple. It will be the best day of my life I know it.

SPRING BREAK!!!

I went home for spring break and I loved it. I am reminded everytime I see Gavin how much I love him and how excited I am to be married to him for eternity. We had a lot of fun this weekend and we got a lot done. I finally got my real ring!! And we finished up some final touches on the wedding, and Gavin and I finally got a real date! We spent time with both of our families which we love so much and are so grateful for. On saturday we got to die eggs with one of my bestest friends in the whole world monica and her "friend" Jeremy.

taking pictures was fun at first

but then he was really pushing the egg in my mouth!

After dying eggs we went to visit Janiel and Eric my cousins/soon to be sister and brother in laws. And then we slept at Gavins mom's house up in north ogden. After spending time with them and helping his sister Jen with her lesson we went down to salt lake to my families ward and I finally got to spend time with my boyfriend Nick.

He was a little mad at me because we got to church so late, but he came over to the house after to have a "party" with me haha. But shyanne promised him that if he was good during sacrament meeting I would come if he was good. Then she asked him if he wanted her to make him a bracelet... he then said... "no, i love tawnya" haha so sorry shy, your bracelets dont make up for love. but he is so cute it was fun spending time with him for a while.

To sum up my break, I LOVE GAVIN, I hate driving all night, dont leave your eggs in the dye for to long and gavins baby pictures are hilarious!!!!

Im going there someday SOON!!

The the thing I am most excited about is going to the temple with Gav and seeing him as we are sealed for eternity. this is my biggest dream come true. I have decided to recieve my endowments at the Bountiful Temple! I have always thought this temple was particularly beautiful especially when you are driving through Bountiful at night and you see is shining SO bright up on the mountain side.

This temple also means a lot to Gavin and I because Bountiful is basically almost half way between salt lake and north ogden... with a little more effort on his part, love you gav :)... but we would go and hang out on the grounds and talk and it was so great to see how important the temples were to him too. One of our favorite dates that we went on was at the Ogden temple. We went and got some ice cream and we went and sat on the grounds and talked about life and the church. I am so lucky to be marrying someone who sees how important the church is.
Next we have decided to get married in the Salt Lake City temple. My parents and sister have all been married in this temple, and it is so beautiful and have heard such great things about the inside. I can't wait to take such a big step in my journey to exaltation with my new husband!

I forget how lucky we are in utah having so many temples so close to us. The closest one to me in ventura is the LA temple which is about an hour away. However, it is SO beautiful! It is huge and the grounds are really cool to be so close to the world yet you feel so far away when you are there. I have spent a good amount of time in that temple and it has helped me learn so much about the temples and how important and sacred they are.
One temple that I cannot wait to go in is the San Diego temple. It so SOOO beautiful, and the great thing is, is that I will be able to go with GAVIN, I love him so much and he is my best friend.

IM ENGAGED!!!!!!!!

OKAY EVERYONE!! In case you haven't heard, I am engaged, to the beautiful Gavin Linsley of course, and I can't wait. We are best friends and so close, I would not want to marry anyone but him. He proposed to me on Feb. 14th in Hollywood CA. He came down to visit me and we had so much fun. He flew in on fri. the 13th to Lax and then drove as fast as he can to my house in ventura. Then we went to the mall to get some matching shirts BECAUSE we were getting our pictures taken the next morning by the famous Robin Vallentyne. Pictures were fun! We went to the ventura pier and took pictures around there.
(right after pictures)
Then we headed down to hollywood. It was a blast!! We walked around the mall the is connected to the Kodak theater and they were setting up for the Oscar Awards. It was really neat to finally go there after seeing it only on tv.

(right before he proposed)

Gavin had this idea to go and get our picture drawn by a cartoonist. So I said ok even though we were going to be late for dinner. So we found the artist and gavin pulled him aside and told me that he had a surprise he wanted the artist to draw. So they talked and he started drawing gavin first. when he started drawing me he told me to put my hand up by my face. so i did... thinking nothing of it, and he put a fat ring on my finger... which was confusing to me cause I wasn't wearing one. At first I thought nothing of it, but then I started getting really nervous, like I was going to throw up. Gavin kept asking if I was ok, but I didnt really know what was going on. The artist was done and gavin said "See that ring he drew on your finger?" and I was like yeah, and then he got down on one knee and asked "will you marry me?" and I froze, I didnt know what to say.... well I did but he already knew the answer so I was thinking why is he still kneeling then i was like oh yeah... "YES" then I started crying and laughing and we hugged it out. It was a lot of fun.

(the engagement picture)

We then headed over to dinner as fast as we could go, to dukes in malibu. It was a lot of fun, it was right on the shore. They gave me a rose and it was such a great dinner!! The whole trip was a lot of fun and it was good for us to have the alone time that we needed.

(our hungry friend) We of course went to church on sunday and set up temple prep classes for me and met with my bishop. Our date is june 30th, and we are so excited, we hope everyone else is excited for us as well. Today Gavin left :( hopefully it wont be that long until i see my love again. But we went and got some good food today and hung out, we always have fun together. I miss him so much and cant wait to see and hang out with him everyday!!!
