What A Fun Weekend!

So I am still pretty new at the blogging, and all my pictures are in the wrong order, so we will start with the end of our weekend. Gavin and I went to his parents for dinner and had a wonderful meal with Jill, Gaynard and Gavin's Grandparents. It was a lot of fun to have some one on one time with them and learn about what North Ogden was like back then. Gav and I took the Dessert and it was Strawberry Shortcake! It was deicious, my favorite kind! I am not a big fan of the angel foodcake, so I use the receipe on the back of the bisquick box instead... Sounds cheap but its delicious.

after church and before dinner gavin and i went to his cousins babies blessing. it was so much fun to spend time with all of his family! after the baby blessing we went to the park and fed the ducks, gavin had to get really close to take this picture, haha i was so nervous they would attack him

After a long hard 8 months, my parents are finishing up their brand new KITCHEN! they just put up the back splash with these adorable tiles! my dad and uncle remodeled the whole kitchen by themselves... i am so proud of them

Saturday was also my moms birthday! she turned 24... well there were 24 candles on her cake. i love her so much and i am so happy to have such a fun and loving mother.

on friday, gavin and i were asked to go and spend the night at my kids' house ( i have nannied them forever, they are basically my family). we spend friday and saturday with them and i loved it the whole time. except for saturday morning when their house got egged and we had to clean it up. but i enjoyed it a lot, after people kept asking if it was birth control or inspiration with spending that much time with them.. and for me definately inspiration, i cant wait to be a mom!!

Stylish Cooking

The other day Gavin and I decided to try a new recipe! We love cooking new things, it has become one of our favorite things to do together. We made Waikiki Chicken a recipe from a cookbook made specially for me from Lynda Allen, one of my Ventura mom's. Gavin breaded and was frying the chicken and it was getting all over his shirt, so we decided to put on our adorable aprons! The apron I am wearing, my older sis made for me and its double sided! So Cute! The apron Gavin is wearing is from our wedding.

St. Patricks Family Picnic

So I hurried home yesterday before Gavin got off of work and threw together an amazingly delicious spaghetti dinner. I grabbed our mitts and a blanket, and when he got home we were off to the park. I love the new weather! Once we got to the park and started eating a huge dog came running at us and was barking, I was so scared, but luckily Gav was there to keep me calm. When the dog left, and after eating our St. Patricks Day sugar cookies (donated from jen) we played catch for almost an hour. It felt so good to finally throw, and its nice to have a fun husband that will play with me.

Gavin and I were bummed cause we couldn't go with his family this weekend to their cabin in yellowstone, but we had a lot of fun with eachother. Nick got baptised this weekend, he is part of the family that I nannied forever, he says im his girlfriend, haha i guess he forgot he was in my wedding.

The morning before the baptism, my mom, dad, shyanne and I went to this farming store, cause I guess we live on a farm? Anyway there were the most adorable baby ducks and chicks and geese!! I wanted one so bad, but my parents refused even though I dont live with them anymore! Oh well, parents will be parents no matter how old you are i guess.

Sunday was such a nice day! Gavin and I went outside and soaked up the sun while it was here. then we went inside and played scrabble. You cant really see the board, but all the big words are mine, and of course I won!

We had so much fun just hanging out together this weekend! Love him so much, especially when I beat him in everything we do!

Post Wedding Post

So i was going through our wedding pictures tonight to get them printed off, how sad is that! so i decided to post some of my favorite pictures!!!

FEBRUARY

Ok ok i know i have been horrible at blogging, but life has been crazy! My cousin kristin is really getting on my to keep this updated so my goal is to do it every month. The month of february was a lot of fun and full of activities. To start off, my cutest little brother got his eagle finally! i am so proud of him!

Also it was mine and gavins first Valentines day together. i was the worst wife ever and didnt get any pictures, but it was a lot of fun. i did get pictures of our family valentines day dinner. my mom worked so hard on it and it was so delicious, plus the set up was very cute.

One of the most exciting things about this month is something that happened to Gavin. He entered into a competition with his DEX sales club. He had to present a marketing idea in front of some judges and he was in the hardest category, Sports and Entertainment Marketing. He took 1st Place! I was so proud of him. Now he gets to go to Kentucky in March for Nationals.

March Should be a fun month, i will keep you updated.
