The Love That Dare Not Bare Its Fangs

Okay everyone I did it! I was scared at first, I didn't want to be disappointed... but little did I know I would fall in LOVE. Yes I went and became part of the millions of hopeful, imaginative, dreamfilled girls that fell hard for Edward Cullen.

I couldn't help it. However the movie did make me wonder, can someone so perfect, beautiful, charming and romantic even exist? And I think yes. Edward cares so much about Bella, it made me full of jealousy. And I hope that one day my husband can care for me like Vampire Edward, it tore my heart out! ugh, it was an amazing movie. What do I have to tell to all the twighlight lovers and the ones who haven't yet discovered the romance of dangerous vampires?? Never give up until you find your Edward.

Turns out I was able to go to Parker's homecoming. Luckily one of my friends' mom works for Jet Blue and was able to get me 2 buddy passes to go home for the weekend. It was only $50 so it really helped me out with my poor college student budget. I love my brother so much and I am so happy to spend time with him this past weekend. And it was so great to see Gavin and spend time with his family too! They are such a cute crowd. His mom and dad were able to come out and see how crazy my family and house gets, so I am sure that was fun for them. Gavin and I got to go up to north ogden and play the Wii with his parents... of course I owned Gavin in bowling, sorry sweetie :)

3 DAYS!!!! but 3 weeks :(

My older brother Parker comes home from his mission in 3 days!! I am so excited to see him over web cam. But I am sad because I won't be able to make it to his homecoming, and the soonest I will get to see him is for Thanksgiving. I think he will understand though that I have made commitments here that I have to attend to. I love him so much and I cant wait to see him!

And I love my sisters so much, I miss them everyday!!

Good Old College Life

Ok...so this is Gavin and i am just enjoyin the good old life down at UVU. My roommates name is Steve and we have a pretty good time together always thinkin of fun stuff to do. So the other night we are laying in our beds, just talkin and we come up with this great idea! Lets wax our chests! haha. So you know when your half asleep and something sounds like a great idea but later you realize it was dumb..i think that is what happened. But of course we were dumb and decided to do it anyway! So Steve is considerably hairier than i am so we decided to do him first. I went to the store and bought the stuff and we started waxing his chest. I was the one ripping off the strips and i was dyin laughin! It was one of the funniest things i have done in a long time. Steve on the other hand did not enjoy it as much. I do have to confess that we still have not done mine yet but soon will get around to it. It the mean time enjoy this video of Steve! Although I have not waxed my chest I did decide to be dumb and shave my head. If you think I look like a freak blame Tawnya cause she told me that I should do it and that she would still love me so i got up the guts and did it. Its really nice to not have to deal with hair in the morning though!

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!

Alright well to start off this is Gavin putting up this post. Tawnya failed to tell you this is our blog and so we will be doing it together although im sure most of it will be her. Before i start on Vegas i will let ya know i am majoring in Buisness Finance because my wonderful, beautiful girlfriend couldnt remember haha i love ya T. Vegas was fun though. I got to travel down with the fam in the good old suburban. It struggled getting there because one of the O2 sensors was bad so on the freeway we were goin about 20 mph up the hills haha. We limped into Saint George and good old Mr. Mechanic Kevin Jones took it to there friends house and went to work. About 2 hours later we were back on the road. In Vegas we had a good time going swimming at the pool and shopping at the outlet stores there and in Prim. We also went to fremont street and were able to see the pole dancing girls and chippendales! (that comment was for Bonnie cause it was her idea to go there). On Saturday night we went to Travis's wedding and that was really nice. The food was great and thats always a plus on my list. After all the fun Tawnya had to leave back to Cali on Sunday moring. It sucks everytime she has to leave but we are pushin through it like Champs! Now we are out of Sin City and back to the good old college life of school, work, mac and cheese and sleep.

For all of my family members that live far away and don't know, I am dating someone. He is super cute! His name is Gavin Linsley, and is from North Ogden. How we met is kinda confusing so try to stay with me... My mom's cousin, Jenny, her son Eric... married Gavin's sister named Janiel. Get it? Anyway no we aren't really related cause it's my mom's like step/half cousin so no worries. He is going to school right now at UVU... i know i know the whole distance thing is really annoying trust me i know, but I would rather do the distance thing with him than nothing at all. We are basically best friends.. and my mom loves him, and you all know for my mom to like him is like a big deal... since she never liked anyone I have ever dated. He is 22 and went on his mission to Cleavland, Ohio.. and I can't quite remember what his major is right now, haha my bad. But he is really really nice my family loves him and he has Sunday dinner with them almost every Sunday... and did I mention we all love him?

The First Visit Home

I had the chance to go home this weekend and spend conference with my family and my cute boyfriend Gavin. It was a ton of fun! I drove down there with a couple of my friends in my ward and we stopped to stay one night in VEGAS. It was amazing. We stayed in the Wynn hotel, which was cool, but I was super under-dressed. I won $6 playing black jack, and we watched the Dodgers and Utes game at the ESPN zone for dinner. When I got home, I went straight to dinner with Gavin's family and watched movies all night long. I was spoiled with the food both of our mom's made and I owned my whole family on Shontel and Kamron's Wii. While the boys went to the priesthood session of conference, the girls went and saw "Nights in Rodathe" and I was BAWLING my eyes out. It was so sad. On a happy note I got to see my puppy.. she is so cute! And I also saw Jacob play in his water polo game, which didn't turn out how everyone had wished, but it was still good to see the toughness gene went to someone other than me ;) It was good to go back home to my family and spend time with them, but I must say I am super homesick again, EVEN though I get to see them next weekend in Vegas. I had a long lonely drive home missing Gav and everyone, and then when I came home... I had forgotten to take out my trash and now there are a billion fruit flies all over my room GROSS!!!

HeY eVeRyOnE!!

hey guys! First things first... I am doing just great! I have been back down at school for 3 months now, and its just as great as before. I always read everyones' blog and am updated on everyones life, so I decided to grow up, get rid on my myspace and facebook, and join the blog crowd. So i hope people even want the latest on my life.. haha. Well I am taking 16 credit hours at school and have softball 3 days a week. It's only pre-season so we aren't on the field as much as we will be in January. Monday, Wednesday and Fridays we have 5 and a half hour practices and then go to study hall. I have to attend 6 hours of study hall every week, so don't worry everyone I have no choice but to get good grades. I am working 2 jobs right now, one is work study where I just work for my coach and basically do everything that she doesn't want to do, and then I work at Abercrombie and Fitch in the mall right by my house. So I guess you could say I stay pretty busy! I am living in the same place as last year, and the people I live with are so sweet. I miss my family and friends EVERYDAY!!
